BIG WEEKEND FOR GRANDVIEW BARBELL!

Derick Castellanos, Leah, and Rachel all competed at the Ohio State Olympic Weightlifting Championships this weekend — and all three came home as division champions! 🥇🥇🥇

DERICK | 65kg
Derick put together another huge performance, advancing the Ohio state record by 4kg and taking GOLD in both the Masters and Senior divisions!

Sn**ch: 72 / 75 / 77kg
Clean & Jerk: 80 / 85 / 86kg
Total: 163kg

We’ve been putting a lot of work into Grandview Barbell over the last month.

With HYROX continuing to grow, we wanted to build a space that better reflects how our members are training.

We’ve added official CENTR HYROX turf with dedicated sled lanes and landing zones, upgraded storage throughout the facility, built new wall ball stations, brought in HYROX competition sandbags, and made a bunch of smaller improvements that make the gym cleaner, more functional, and just a better place to train.

If you’ve been in recently, you’ve probably noticed. If you haven’t, come check it out.

We offer HYROX classes every day, and Grandview Barbell is open 24/7 for members. Whether you’re training for your first race, trying to qualify for the World Championships, or just looking to get stronger and improve your conditioning, we’d love to have you in.

We’re proud of what we’re building, and we’re just getting started.

Not every coach has the same background... and that’s a huge advantage for our members.

Continuing our series on personal training, we’re highlighting Page, who has quickly become one of the most sought-after trainers at CrossFit Grandview and Grandview Barbell.

While many of our coaches come from a CrossFit background, Page’s education and training are rooted in powerlifting and bodybuilding, giving him a unique skill set for members whose goals fall into those areas.
