Head Coach Alexander Majors was the big winner of the Elite Men’s competition Big Orange Brawl this past weekend, and more than deserves a top tier compilation post. Congrats Alexander Majors!!

There’s a competitive group here at CrossFit Polaris, and Nick quickly jumped right in with that crew when he started with us in 2024. From the 6am class to our Saturday competition class, he might always have his sights on his rival’s/bestie’s progress in the workout 👀 But it’s all in great fun, and why we love seeing Nick through the week, and why he’s our Member of the Month. Amazing work, Nick!

We ❤️ Rope Climbs! From grip, to shoulders, to core, to legs, climbing a rope has it all. (We love rope climbs so much that every lane in our gym has one!)

It can look intimidating, but Katie (kj) McIntyre here is showing off how quickly you can learn to get off the ground with a coach like JJ 🙂‍↕️

Cj Recinella found CrossFit 10 years ago, looking for extra conditioning in middle and high school for football. He ended up climbing as high as 104th in the world in the early years of the Teen division in the CrossFit Open!
A decade later and we are so glad he still calls CrossFit Polaris is home gym, and so proud that he continues to push himself every day. Congrats CJ on being our member of the month!!

One year ago, many of these teens picked up a barbell for the first time 🥹

Today, we hope they’re as proud of themselves as we are of them. As they trained in the pool with their swim coach, Calvin Higdon and Westerville Aquatic Club , our NextGen program added a couple evenings of CrossFit to their week, taking their conditioning to a new level. It’s been an incredible first year watching these athletes transform, and we are so excited to see what year two brings!

(And thanks to Coach Katie Minter and Coach JJ for all their work launching such a great program with these young athletes!)

Marathon runner to a big Murph fan, became fast friends with many folks here at Crossfit Polaris in the last two years!
