A group of researchers at Ohio State is working to find out if AI can play a role in helping to make the results of political polls more accurate.

What if you turned over almost all your daily tasks to AI? The time-consuming ones. The irritating ones. Would your life be better? Easier?

The phrase, "It's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there," sums up some people's feelings about the “downtown” of a city. According to a national study, city leaders' efforts to bring people back downtown have a long way to go.

A nationwide City Pulse survey found that nearly 75% of city residents say their central business districts offer a great experience but less than half visit weekly.

Former Ohio State President E. Gordon Gee said he wouldn't fire an Ohio State professor who tackled a documentary cameraman in February.

The viral moment happened in February as Newman, a documentarian carmeraman, and DJ Byrnes, also known as "The Rooster," were questioning former Ohio State President E. Gordon Gee, who was serving as a guest lecturer at the center.

Newman and Byrnes were trying to interview former President E. Gordon Gee inside Smith Laboratory about Ohio billionaire Les Wexner and other topics. In the video, Perez steps in front of Newman to block his access to Gee and then assaults the man, throwing him to the ground.

Gee made the comments while appearing on WOSU's All Sides with Amy Juravich. Listen to the full interview through the link our bio or on your favorite podcast app.

Perez pled no contest to one count of disorderly conduct in Franklin County Municipal Court on July 20. Perez was fined $100 and sentenced to two years of community control, or parole.

An Ohio State University human resources sanctioning committee recommended that Perez be fired on June 3. He was placed on administrative leave two days after the assault.

Newman is suing Perez and Christopher Green, another faculty member at Ohio State's Salmon P. Chase Center.
