We understand that many still hold nostalgic memories of the American Indoor Football League (AIF) . However, following the conclusion of the 2024 season, the league ownership and member teams made the collective decision to merge with the NAL. Any discussions regarding a potential revival of the AIF are not based on accurate or official information. As of now, the AIF has ceased operations indefinitely and any "upstart" using the naming should be researched fully.
We want to take a moment to thank our loyal fans for their support over the years. We encourage you to continue supporting your favorite former AIF teams as they now compete in the NAL. After careful consideration and in light of the organization's expressed desire to explore other opportunities, the AIF supports this decision and wishes the Renegades success in its future endeavors.

The AIF remains focused on its plans for expansion and growth, with solid backing and support from its dedicated current members. Confident in its strategic plan and trajectory to become a premier league in the indoor football community, the AIF welcomes the possibility of future collaborations and invites the Renegades to reapply for membership following the upcoming offseason developments.
