Look at that t-shirt….there’s a blast from the past! Probably vintage at this point!

Elijah is fortunate to have MANY unsung heroes and we are forever grateful.

The Unsung Heroes

How about the unsung heroes?

The aunt who shows up.

The grandma who never misses a night.

The uncle who turns a wrench, hauls a trailer, or stays late just to make sure everything is ready for the next race.

The ones who buy the snowcone.

The ones who take the pictures.

The ones who hold the little ones when Mom and Dad are busy.

The ones who celebrate the wins and remind them they're loved just as much after the losses.

The ones who might not have their name on the car, their face on the shirt, or their name called over the loudspeaker.

But they're there.

In the stands.
In the pits.
In the background of a thousand memories.

And someday, when those kids are grown, they might not remember every race they won or every trophy they brought home.

But they'll remember who showed up.

Who cheered the loudest.
Who made them feel special.
Who loved them through every season, every setback, and every dream.

Because sometimes the people who make the biggest difference in a child's life are the ones who never ask for a single bit of recognition.

To the aunts, uncles, grandparents, family friends, and all the people who show up simply because they love those kids...

We see you, too.

And those kids are lucky to have you.
