is ecstatic to partner with Flux + Flow Dance Center again for Pride 2026 to create a traveling performance celebrating q***r joy, self-actualization, and the power of community! Sign up to be a performer or a marcher.
The Pride March will be held the morning of Saturday, June 20, 2026 in downtown Columbus. CMA will share more information with those who register to march with us as the date approaches.
Please register each person individually. Deadline to register is May 31.
Two Opportunities to Participate:
MARCHERS
CMA is seeking volunteers to pass out materials and support the performers along the way. Marchers who register before May 31 will receive a free CMA Pride T-Shirt from CMA featuring the designs of Columbus-born q***r artist Evelyn McBride.
PERFORMERS
Volunteer performers will commit to three 2.5-hour rehearsals ahead of the parade led by Flux+Flow at CMA. Performers may miss up to one rehearsal and still participate. Who can perform? Absolutely anyone! No dance experience is required and you are welcome to participate with the whole family—all ages welcome. Flux + Flow will share more information with those who register.
Rehearsal dates:
Wednesday, May 27, 6-8:30 PM at CMA
Wednesday, June 3, 6-8:30 PM at CMA
Wednesday, June 17, 6-8:30 PM at CMA
What to Expect for Dancers and Marchers:
All Performers and Marchers should be prepared to walk or stand the entire march. There will be opportunities for rest built into the performance but even while resting performers will need to continue moving with the marchers. It typically takes about 60-75 minutes to travel the approximately 2-mile route. While the march itself begins at 10:30 AM, most groups will not begin marching right away. Participants should plan for a full, active day.
