Kyle showed up to the show at Cabela’s empty handed not knowing we were scoring deer that day. He said I live 12 minutes away I’ll be right back. About 30 minutes later here comes Kyle with 2 beautiful euro mounts. This one was awesome!!! 15 scoreable points (6 of them being irregular at almost 30”) this deer was fun to measure!! Kyle enjoyed watching the process and discussing how we score.

Seth was the first one in the door at the Cabela’s event this past weekend. This buck is what dreams are made of……. 50+” of beams!!!!
36+” of mass!!!!! No irregular points!! It was fun talking to Seth and his wife at the show. Great people and an awesome deer! Says he’s got more where that came from too. He’ll be bringing them by eventually.

I'll be scoring deer at Cabelas Polaris parkway this coming Saturday 2/28 from 10-2pm. We'll be set up in the archery department. Swing by to say hi and bring your bucks to be scored. I'll have scorers from Buckmasters, Pope and Young, Boone and Crockett, and Buckeye Big Buck Club there to measure. Should be a fun day!!!

Michael brought his 2025 and 2024 bucks over to be scored. This one is the 2024! He had lots of history with this buck and day of equipment failure. Although bittersweet due to his compound bow breaking the morning of the hunt he still capitalized with his backup bow. What a great deer with a cool story and sweet brows.

Lane reached out yesterday and was able to bring his rack over this afternoon. This is the second entry I’ve done for Lane. Also his biggest to date. This deer with tall P2’s, long main beams, nice mass, and 5 non-typical points was taken with his rifle on December 6th. Great job Lane!!!!

Lucky for me he winded me at 35 yards last January lol. After harvesting him this year another hunter I know reached out with pictures of him from the summer time. His summer time home range was over 2 miles (as the crow flies) from where I hunt. This deer I call Johnny Blaze showed up to me between late November and mid December for at least the last 2 seasons. This year it was Wednesday 11/27 and I was able to capitalize on Monday 12/2 at 3:30pm. With almost 37” of abnormals and 33” of mass he came in at exactly 189”. Hands down my biggest and wildest buck to date.
