How do you say goodbye to a young, beautiful soul when it simply wasn’t her time to go?
The sudden passing of Joy Moore has left so many of us without words. As Facebook fills with posts, memories, and photos, one thing is abundantly clear: Joy was deeply loved by so many.
Her name could not have been more fitting. Joy truly was a joy to be around. That beautiful, humble smile of hers had a way of making people happy just by being in her presence.
Her absence will be felt beyond words throughout our bowling community. Joy and her husband, Jay, were the perfect team—not only on the lanes at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl, but in life. Seeing the two of them together was something special, and our hearts ache knowing that such a wonderful partnership has been changed far too soon.
On behalf of all of us at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl, we extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to Jay, to Joy’s family, and to every person who knew and loved her.
As you face the difficult days ahead and make the final arrangements for beautiful Joy, we pray that you feel the presence of God’s love surrounding you. May He give you strength when the grief feels too heavy, comfort when words are not enough, and peace in the precious memories Joy leaves behind.
And as Joy rests in the final sleep of peace, may God gently heal your tender hearts and hold each of you close in His loving embrace.
Rest peacefully, beautiful Joy. You were loved beyond measure, and you will be missed beyond words.
