NEARSITED explores the tension between what is right in front of us and what exists just beyond our view. Inspired heavily by the far side of the Moon and its connection to earth and humans, the work considers how perception shapes reality, how easily we mistake the unseen for the unknown, and what might become possible when we choose to look beyond what feels immediately visible.

What if seeing clearly means looking further away?

So incredibly grateful to the Greater Columbus Arts Council for continuing to support Whirlwind as we step into SEASON V!!!

Getting to make bold work, create opportunities for dancers, and keep building something we believe in here in Columbus means so much to us. Support like this is a huge part of what makes that possible.
