Got to try new Cognigreens. It’s delicious! Most greens products are fairly unpalatable but I could drink this all day. Plus it’s full of adaptogens and superfoods with no artificial ingredients and no sugar. I missed it with water but I bet it would be amazing in a smoothie too!!

Have you mastered basic form before progressing an exercise by adding weight? 🤔

It can be easy to develop bad habits with our movement, either from lack of mobility, compensation or lack of/improper instruction.

We make sure clients learn the proper foundations of exercise patterns - like the single-leg dead lift - before making them harder by adding a dumbbell.

Placing load on top of poor movement patterns is a great risk factor for injury.

Any time pain pops up or a movement doesn’t feel right, it is always ok to regress back to basics and focus on re-learning or improving the movement pattern.

Here I’m working on body weight single-leg dead lifts to modify for back pain I’ve been having. Slowing down and really engaging the popper lower body and core muscles kept these challenging while avoiding making my back pain worse. 🙌🏻👍🏻
