After Phillies going 0-5 to Arlington Tigers in 2025, Jake Foraker has turned into an absolute psycho on the recruiting circuit.
Haters will say it’s bad for the Central Ohio Mens Baseball League because less teams, congested roster. Fewer guys come back to play next year…recruiting carousel.
Proponents will say that large rosters with lots of PO’s is no big deal, and that turnover is part of the game, not to mention with so many “super teams” forming in recent years, large rosters are necessary to compete.
I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. Managing a big roster is tough, but it’s just as tough to be constantly worried about having enough guys.
In theory, it makes more money for the league to have more teams. On the other hand, more players per team lowers the average cost per player.
One thing is for sure, the Phillies have enough talent to go all the way in 2026. The question is, can they answer the bell? 🔔
LETSSSS GOOOOO💣🚨
We are pumped to announce the commitment of Gabreol Aitken for this summer. Gabreol is a graduate of Reynoldsburg HS and went on to play collegiate baseball at Tiffin University. He is truly as good as it gets behind the dish. His strong arm and smooth framing ability will be a huge weapon for us this season. Gabe will also play in the outfield and infield for us. Offensively, he balances out our lineup and will be an instant spark plug for our lineup. We are confident that he will fit in with our team and help us win some games this summer✊🏻 a coaching staff of Caleb Haller, Ben Stevens, and Gabreol Aitken sets us up with one of the best catching rooms in the league‼️🔥
Welcome to our family, Gabreol You will be a huge part of this team next season💪🏻
