Worthington Youth Boosters Gymnastics -Columbus, Ohio WYB Gymnastics offers year-round recreational classes at the preschool, beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

DESCRIPTION OF LEVELS:

Flip with Me, walking-36 months is a guardian and toddler class. We welcome parents, guardians, and caregivers to join your child. This gymnastics-based class promotes child development, socialization, and parent-child bonding at an age-appropriate level. Basic tumbling and gymnastics will be taught in a fun and participatory environment. Preschool: Ages 3-5; introduction to beginner gymnastics! Beginner: Little to no prior gymnastics experience is needed. Gymnasts will learn basic skills, such as forward/backward rolls, bridge kick-overs, cartwheels, jumps, donkey kicks, pullovers, and swinging and casting on bars. Intermediate: Should have some prior gymnastics experience. Gymnasts will continue to work on basic skills and will learn new skills such as jumps and handstands on beam, back-bend kick-overs, and back hip circles. Advanced: Gymnasts will practice skills such as cartwheels and handstands on beam, back-hip-circles on bars, and back/front handsprings on floor.

This past week, some of our team members participated in the AAU National meet held in Knoxville, Tennessee, securing notable placements and creating memorable experiences with their teammates. Xcel Gold gymnast Carys Crawford has earned the opportunity to compete at the AAU Junior Olympics, taking place in Des Moines, Iowa, this August. We are delighted to celebrate the accomplishments of all involved and are truly proud of each participant.
