Sabal Dojo is here at Lake Bottom Park in Columbus, GA for the annual Relay For Life of Muscogee County !!!!

The event begins later this evening.

Columbus DOJO - 沖縄五首館空手 全米本部道場 is here at their booth on the east side of the track.

We will be serving yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), fried rice, cold brew and iced coffee this year!

All proceeds are being donated directly to the American Cancer Society.

The event kicks off at 6pm tonight and finishes at 9pm.

Looking forward to seeing you all out on the track this evening to show your support!

For those in the martial arts world who are interested in deeper dives into history, background, style exploration, etc., there are a number of new books recently published by Hamagawa House Publishing

Hard cover editions available for most of the recent publications.

For styles with Five Ancestor style Kung Fu lineages, Shurite lineages, and other Okinawan style backgrounds, we highly recommend the books in these series and those being published in the coming months and next couple of years.

Shout out to Deer Creek Apiaries !!


We bought chocolate flavor and regular flavor honey cream. They asked us to settle the score and set the records straight on which one is better.

Initial taste test: standard flavor honey - smoother, lighter flavor, and reminisce of Texas Roadhouse famous honey butter rolls. Love it. Chocolate tasted like the world's best tootsie roll 💜.

Further testing had to be done, I said. I needed to make sure the research was conducted properly to give a solid, objective answer.

The results are as follows:

•Baking into croissants: CHOCOLATE ALL THE WAY!!!!!

•Hot drinks (coffee, teas, hot cocoa, etc): chocolate -
Better blended flavor, added just a hint of sweetness to the drinks' palette without overpowering, and reduced the need to add dairy to smooth out bitterness.

•Cold drinks (iced coffee, iced tea, smoothies, etc): regular honey flavor - added a thickness and sweet homemade mouth feel to the drinks and blends well with berries and bananas.

Overall preferences:
•Hot drinks and desserts: Chocolate honey cream

•Cold drinks and plain breads: Regular honey cream

Which one is better??
Guys, don't make me choose one to exclude the other. I love these little jars of sweet goodness equally for different specialties!

If anyone ever has a chance to order honey products from this small business, DO IT!!!!! Their customer service is as sweet and at home as the honey they serve. Love it! 5 stars for great products, great service, and fair prices!

The organic smoked paprika we bought from you at the recent Local Mini Market & Fall Closet Cleanout is absolutely delicious! It's now a staple for the dry rub blend for the smoked meats at our events.

We appreciate your great customer service and couldn't recommend the spices more highly. Looking forward to buying more from your blend collections!

At this time, we are still waiting for the Sec. of State dept. to confirm that Sabal Dojo has been transferred to GA from NC. The estimated time of completion for this process is unknown at this time. More updates as they come.
