Feature 2️⃣➡️8️⃣
Got hit early in the race and the car just wasn’t fast, she said she was flat footing it but it wouldn’t go.. Not sure what happened haven’t looked it over yet.

Jr. Animal
Heat race 6️⃣➡️2️⃣
Feature 3️⃣➡️4️⃣
Got takin out, came back to 4th and had it rolling but the race timed out.

Taylor Bowden

B main started 6️⃣ clean pass for 3rd and a car pinched her down the straight away and then turn and he spun calling it on Taylor🤷‍♂️
After that couldn’t catch a break getting 3 strike rule.

Sr. Animal
Heat 1️⃣ lead several laps before the car started getting real tight, carrying the left front tire, then the whole left side was about a foot off the pavement all the way around the turns, very scary but that girl still had it rolling and finished 3rd.

Feature we made adjustments after a phone call to our chassis builder.
Started 6️⃣ and wheeled it to a 2nd place podium finish.🏆

We all had a great time, and so glad that Taylor got the wheel our cars for her first time at Ohio for her last race of her career in Quarter Midgets.

THQMA family fun night

After the kids all got done racing it was time for the adults to have alittle fun.

Next race up was the Retired Drivers Race. So I went on the hunt to find someone to drive Rykers Sr. Honda car.
My retired driver was Tuesday Pearce.. We had her come in during hot laps to see what we need to change, she replied nothing it’s good, it’s really good. She was running 2nd when she go takin out. But came from the tail and finished 2nd.. She was the only Honda 120 car out there, everyone else ran 160’s..She still has the touch!💪

Next up was the Mom/Grandma Race.
Mariah climbed in for her first time ever racing anything. After around three or four times about hitting the wall during hot laps, she was able to change her line and run good laps. She ended up finishing 1st 🥇 💚🏁💚out of the moms and 2nd over all. Grandma Jayne Collins’s smoked them again.🥇🏁

Next was the Dads/Grandpa Race.
Bryce was the only Honda 120 in this race and just didn’t have the power to keep up..

Rory climbed into Tom Vicino’s car and lack another 1” of room so he ran with no shoes and was good to go.
He led a lot of laps before getting takin out by that dirty driver ( Bray McCandless)😂🤣🤣
After about lap 200 Rory found his way back to 2nd but the car was just to free. With 2 laps to go he got passed by Greg Dillion and would finish 1st 🥇 🏁 out of the Grandpas and 3rd🥉 overall..
The crew chief for Rory’s car might be on a suspension and dock in pay for not putting on A35 hard tires.😂😂😂
We all had a blast!

Jäger climbed In and ran laps at the arrive and drive, he now wants Papaw to buy him his own car..💚

THQMA dirt points race #9
10-7-23

Haidyn Jr. Honda started 6th in her heat and finished 3rd
Started 5th in the feature and finished 2nd 🥈

Jr. Animal started 6th in her heat and won🏁
Started on the pole of the feature.. 11 laps in with a straightaway lead she spun putting her to the tail came back and would finish 3rd 🥉

🖤💚🖤 Haidyn Jr. Honda is your 2023 Track Champion 💚🖤💚

Jr. Animal finished 2nd in points 1 point behind Easton Tanner, Congratulations to him he’s a great little driver!🏁

Ryker Sr. Honda finished 5th in points
Sr. Animal 4th in points
He missed 3 point races this season but still manage to finish in the top 5 In both cars.

THQMA Dirt points race #8 and Qualifying

Haidyn Jr. Honda set fast time💚🖤💚
Finished 2nd in the feature… Crew chief missed the gearing..

Jr. Animal she was 2nd quick..
Leading the feature with 2 laps to go and spun..Fished 6th…. Crew chief had the wrong tire choice..

The crew chief failed her on his duties bad this weekend.

1 points race left and she is still leading both classes.. Jr. Animal now only a 1 point lead thanks to the crew chief.🙄
