🐾 🥎 The Lady Wildcats season came to an end in a heartbreaking battle, finishing just one game short of the State Tournament. These girls fought with everything they had until the very last out and represented Shelby County with heart, grit, and pride every single game.

What a season it was for the Lady Wildcats — finishing with an incredible 31-8 record and making memories that will forever be part of the record books. From big wins, championship moments, walk-off celebrations, and battles together as a family… this team gave us all something special to cheer for.

To our seniors — thank you. Thank you for the leadership, dedication, toughness, and love you poured into this program over the years. You helped build the standard and left this program better than you found it. The impact you’ve made on the younger players, coaches, and community will never be forgotten.

We love every one of you and wish you nothing but success in whatever comes next. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat. ♥️ 🐾🥎

5A Area 8 CHAMPS 🏆

Your Lady Wildcats went 3-0 on the day, dominating from start to finish and outscoring opponents 37-8 to claim the title!

⭕️ Aaliyah Chaisson went the distance in Game 1 with a complete 7-inning performance, allowing just a .212 BAA and striking out 7

⭕️ Brooklyn Richardson threw 11 innings over 2 games, allowing 1 earned run, collecting 23 Ks, and holding opponents to a .132 BAA

Your Shelby County Lady Wildcats are hosting the Area Tournament this Tuesday, May 5th at the SCHS Softball Field!

The Lady Wildcats open play against Sylacauga at 9:00 AM and will be back on the field again at 11:00 AM. See comments for the full bracket.
