The support for the Oct 1st and 2nd Fall Doubles - Special Olympics Fundraiser was amazing. Thanks to all who came out in support of the Area 7 Special Olympics tennis athletes on one or both of these beautiful fall evenings to play tennis, spectate, share delicious food and enjoy warm company. Murraywood raised $2,000 towards the Saluda Slammers’ trip to Hilton Head to compete in the Special Olympics North America Tennis Championship!

Murraywood’s women’s and men’s 4.0, 3.5, 3.0 TriLevel teams enjoyed the South Carolina State Championships in Sumter last weekend playing on the red clay courts!

The men’s team, captained by Joe Balazs, were finalists in the tournament. Alan Cooper and Robbie French captured a win in all their matches to bolster the team’s success!

And good news — we’re not quite done yet! The pool will be OPEN this Saturday for one more chance to soak up some Murraywood summer.
