Join us for an evening of fun doubles tennis, camaraderie and snacks!!! We are proud to be hosting our annual Fall Doubles Tournament and Fundraiser on Thursday and Friday, October 1 and 2, to support the Saluda Slammers, our local Special Olympics tennis team, as they prepare to head to Hilton Head to compete in the North American October Tournament! Net proceeds will be donated to the team, and members and guests have the option of donating more (optional!) to help these young athletes and their families offset travel expenses.
We know you’re busy, so the format will be streamlined: All 2.5 and 3.0 level players will play on Thursday, October 1, late afternoon/evening. (We can get you on court as early as 4:00 pm if both partners and opponents are available; and as late as 7:00 pm). Players 3.5 and up will play on Friday, October 2, late afternoon/evening (as early as 4:00 pm, and as late as 7:00 pm). We will try to get you off-court by 9:00 pm! Of course, you may come out to spectate and socialize both nights! We do ask that attendees (players and spectators) bring an hors d’oeuvres to share. We will have water on hand; you are welcome to BYOB!
So grab a doubles partner and register. Both players need to register individually. You will reference your partner in your individual registration but both players need to be registered. If you want to pay for your partner, you will need to re-load the form and submit again with their data.
The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
