Metro City Basketball Classic Sc Annual South Carolina boys and girls Middle School state Basketball championship held and the end of the season. This is an invite only event!!!

We are hosting the 8th annual state-wide middle school boys and girls
basketball tournament. Bringing the top middle school
basketball teams from Richland School District 1, Richland
School District 2, Krenshaw, Orangeburg County and
Lexington County, to compete in a single elimination
tournament. The winner will be crowned as Champions of Middle
school basketball boys and girls team in the Midlan

ds. We
will also select top middle school boys and girls to
participate in an All-star Game during the weekend. This
will be a middle school tournament like no other. Delivering
intense competition and a great basketball atmosphere. The Metro City Basketball Classic is in its second year
and will be held February 11-12 2021
Columbia South Carolina.

Today, we proudly welcome Christopher Horton into the Metro City Hall of Fame.

A senior guard at Ridge View High School, Christopher is a three-time South Carolina State Champion and one of the most recognizable faces in Metro City history.

For 8 of Metro City’s 10 years, Christopher has been part of our journey. From his early days competing in our events to becoming one of the area’s most accomplished players, he has grown up alongside Metro City.

More than his success on the court, Christopher has given us some of the most iconic media moments our organization has ever captured. His highlights, photographs, and unforgettable plays have helped tell the story of Metro City basketball and inspired the next generation of players.

For his lasting impact on our history, we proudly present Christopher Horton with the inaugural Metro City Iconic Moments Award, recognizing the athletes whose unforgettable moments have become part of the Metro City legacy.

Congratulations, Christopher. Your legacy is forever part of Metro City.
