The Cayce Tennis And Fitness Center was honored this week by the United States Tennis Association - USTA (Official) with a 2026 Outstanding Facility Award in the Public Courts: Large Tennis Centers category.

This award recognizes excellence in facility design, courts and lighting, amenities, aesthetics, and commitment to growing grassroots tennis. Cayce is a community partner of USTA South Carolina, and they host a variety of programs, events, and tournaments for both seasoned players and those new to the sport.

Accepting the award on behalf of the center were Brian Clary, Director of Tennis & Pickleball Operations for Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission (pictured center), and Brian Reeves, CTFC Facility Director and Head Tennis Professional (pictured right).

Congratulations to the entire team at the Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center on this well-deserved honor!

Join us in celebrating Karen Johnson of Spindle Tree Racquet Club, playing out of UPTA (Upper Piedmont Tennis Association) in Greenville, our Spring Captain of the Season! 🏆🎾

Karen's players describe her as the heart of their team and the reason league tennis feels less like competition and more like community. From organizing team gatherings to raising $17K for kids in foster care through a local tournament, she's proof that tennis can be a platform for something bigger. 💛
