Softball would love any help available!!

As we are preparing for our season, we would like to see if anyone is able or knows someone who is able to donate paint for our dugouts!!

BASEBALL Evaluations

Evaluations for the spring season will be held at Polo Road Park (730 Polo Road) on Field #1 on February 8th, 2020. Click here for a map of the park. Players will be divided into age groups with each group’s evaluation time below. Wee Ball & Rookie Ball players do not have to attend evaluations. All registered players will be placed on a team. Please register prior to the deadline 2/8/20 as players will be placed on a team by 2/12/20. You may register by clicking on the banner at the top of the DentsvilleBaseball.com page.

8:00 AM Coaches Report
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM 12U & 14U
10:30 AM - 12:00 AM 10U
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM 8U
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM Make Up
Coaches will be evaluating fielding (infield & outfield), throwing, hitting, speed, competitiveness & pitching. Please see our suggested evaluation guide that is provided to the coaches prior to evaluations. All evaluation scores are to be kept confidential.

Haven't registered yet??? That's OK. Come to Evaluations anyway!

ALL PLAYERS (INCLUDING RETURNING PLAYERS) MUST PARTICIPATE IN EVALUATIONS.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT EVALUATIONS

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in and give your player a chance to warm up. Upon arrival, check your player in at the check in table. Each player will receive a number to attach to the front of their shirt. Players will report to Field #1 at Polo Road Park.

2 Grounders at 2nd base & Throw to First
3 Grounders at Short Stop & Throw To First
Outfield
Field 3 balls hit to left center & throw to cut-off
Hitting & Running
4 pitches (delivered from a batting practice distance of ~30-35 ft)
Pitching (10U, 12U, 14U Only)
3 Pitches (fastballs)
Catching
Block 3-5 Balls
