The practice of yoga started for Christina in the fall of 2009 in a college class in Oceanside, California. She quickly realized the benefits i
t offered; whether it was stress management, overcoming chronic illnesses, finding hope amidst depression, and gaining confidence as she witnessed her mind and body trasnform. In early 2017, Christina decided that she wanted to delve further in to the world of yoga and learn how to spread it's benefits to the people around her. She will be completing her Yoga Teacher Training through Barefoot Yoga Studio in June of 2017. Christina will offer classes for teens and adults, inside or amongst the beauty of nature, private lessons, group sessions, or as an independent contractor. Yoga is more than just a physical practice- it is a way of life and a culture that is to be honored and respected. Yoga the Mind hopes to utilize yoga techniques to change one’s mindset and help one to achieve the greatest happiness. Deepening one’s yoga practice will allow one to find peace and strength mentally, emotionally and physically.
