My friend’s daughter is heading off to Army boot camp, so it felt only appropriate to step out in fatigues for her send-off party! 🫡💚 Wishing her strength and success as she begins this next chapter! 🇺🇸

There’s just something about watching new life grow right before your eyes. A new leaf, a fresh shoot, a plant finally deciding to thrive after you’ve been babying it for weeks. 😂

My little indoor jungle keeps growing, and I’m not mad about it one bit. These plants bring me so much peace and joy.

Yep…plant lady status confirmed. 🌿🥰

After the gym, it’s protein coffee and a little moment of solitude before I head upstairs and get ready for work. ☕️💪🏾

And yes, I’m still at it. No, I’m not fully back to running yet. Maybe it’ll happen, maybe it won’t. The year isn’t over, but I’m also not putting pressure on myself. 👀

My word for this year is Grace, and I’m learning to actually give myself some. If running comes back, great. If it doesn’t, that’s okay too.

For now, I’m still showing up. ❤️

Happy, happy 26th birthday to my Sunshine! ☀️❤️

From that sweet little face to the man you are today, being your mom has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m so proud of you, Allo, and I hope you always know just how deeply you are loved.

No matter how grown you get, you’ll always be my baby. 😂🥹❤️

Happy 26th birthday, Diallo! I love you more than words could ever say. 🎉🎂🥳

🎶👏🏾Me and You us never part👏🏾🎶

Another great weekend in the books. ❤️

Spent some time in ATL with the man child, and it was one of those weekends that just felt good. We started with breakfast, then I met up with an old dear friend for lunch at Cooper’s Hawk W**ery. It was such a great time catching up, laughing, and picking up like no time had passed. Those kinds of friendships are truly special. 🥰

Later, Allo and I headed to State Farm Arena to watch the Atlanta Dream for HBCU Night. And whew, the seats were amazing! 🙌🏾🏀 We had such a good time.

Good food, old friends, quality time with my baby, and some great basketball. Another weekend well spent. ❤️

My cup is full. 🥰

Someone asked me how my running is going and…ummm, not that great. 😂

I just can’t seem to find that runner’s high right now. Every time I try to get back into it, I’m reminded that I would much rather be somewhere pumping this iron. 😩😂

I’m not giving up on running just yet, but whew…this ish ain’t easy.

For now, this right here is still my happy place. 🖤💪🏾

Run Sy Run…eventually. 😂🏃🏾‍♀️

There’s something extra sweet about being invited out and told, “I got you.” 🥹❤️

My niece treated me to dinner at W**e & Dine, and we had such a good time. Good food, lots of laughs, and even better company. I’m always the one who loves taking care of the people I love, so it feels really nice when that love comes back around and someone wants to pour into me for a change.

Such a simple evening, but one that meant a lot. Always nice to be shown love. 💕🥂

I’m feeling me. 😝

A day was had, and baby, it was a GREAT day. 😂 Good energy, good vibes, good company, and I looked cute doing it. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Sometimes you just have to enjoy the moment, smile a little harder, and appreciate a day that simply felt good.

Yeah…today was one of those days. 🥰✨
