Open Gym begins tomorrow!!!

We are offering Open Gym sessions each Thursday, beginning August 10th. We have two different sessions. The first session for our “Tiny Tots” (ages 1y – 3y) starts at 9:00am. Our second session for our “Busy Bees” (ages 4y and up) begins at 11:00am. Each of these open gym sessions is one (1) hour long. The cost is $7 per child, per session.

For your child to participate, you must reserve your child’s spot, by signing up online via your parent account. New members must first create a parent account by going to www.discoverygym.com . There you will click the “Parent Login” button and create a new account. Add your child to your account and then select the session you wish for them to participate in. The session must be paid for at the time of reservation. The pre-registration will get your child playing sooner, without the need to wait in line to pay. Space is limited! Sign up today!

The much-awaited Discovery Gym Homeschool Class Schedule is out! We have worked hard to add more variety to the available Homeschool classes. We will be offering different levels of Gymnastics, Tumbling and Ninja Warrior classes. We also included a Parent & Child class. In addition, we have added Open Gym on Thursdays – 2 different sessions, one for 1-3 year olds and one for children ages 4 and up! Classes and Open Gym Sessions begin the week of August 7th. All one hour classes are $72 for the first child with a $30 annual membership fee per child. We also offer sibling and multiple class discounts. Parent & Child classes are 45 minutes long and cost $54 a month with a $30 annual membership fee per child. Open Gym is $7 per child per session.

We are looking to hire a Gymnastics Team Coach, Recreational Gymnastics Coach and a Ninja Warrior Coach!

A coach is responsible for teaching and coaching athletes in the art of of their respective sport. They play a crucial role in helping athletes reach their full potential through developing skills, creating training plans, and providing feedback and support.

Responsibilities of a Gymnastics Team Coach:
o Design training plans that focus on building strength, flexibility, and skill progression
o Teach proper techniques for all gymnastics disciplines including vault, bars, beam, floor, and conditioning skills
o Assist young athletes, of all ages, in setting and achieving individual goals
o Provide regular feedback and encouragement to athletes
o Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective strategies
o Maintain a safe training environment and ensure that all equipment is properly used and maintained
o Attend competitions and provide support and coaching to athletes during meets
o Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaches

Qualifications for A Gymnastics Team Coach:
o Experience as a competitive gymnast or gymnastics coach
o Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques and training methods
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Ability to create and implement effective training plans
o Certification in gymnastics coaching (USAG Coaching Certification) is preferred
o Safety Certification, or CPR/First-aid Certification is preferred, but not required
o At least three (3) years of experience as a gymnastics coach
o Excellent knowledge in gymnastics techniques and training principles
o Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

To better maintain your child's belongings, we have done away with cubbies for camp kids. Instead we have installed hooks for your child's backpack. Each child must bring a backpack with their lunch, snacks and a refillable water bottle, and we will provide the fun!

Only 4 weeks left of Summer camp! Let your kids join in on the fun! Join Discovery Gym for an action-packed, fun-filled Summer camp experience!
To better maintain your child's belongings, we have done away with cubbies for camp kids. Instead we have installed hooks for your child's backpack. Each child must bring a a backpack with their lunch, snacks and a refillable water bottle, and we will provide the fun!
You can pick and choose which days you wish for your child to attend. When you sign up, you are required to pay a $35 deposit to reserve your spot for that week! When the camp you have signed up for comes, you are required to pay the remaining amount that Monday for the duration of the week of camp your children will attend.
We have themes!!!
Each camp week is themed differently, and our crafts for will be based on that theme. In addition we will have a different activity focus for each day of the week.
Wednesdays are our Water Play days, so be sure to pack swimwear, a towel, water shoes & sunscreen.

Let Discovery Gymnastics help you celebrate your child's special day! Our parties consist of one (1) hour of active fun and 30 minutes in your own private party space. The cost is $175 for members and $200 for non-members!

You provide the refreshments and your child can invite 15 of their friends to join in on the fun! We provide the fun! We also assist in set up and we handle the clean up!
