Well… That’s all folks. The 2025 Pin Deck Singles Challenge season is in the books, and what a ride it was!!!

Let’s give it up for our new league Champion:

🥇Bradley Pierce!

Bradley stumbled a little out of the blocks, but when he found it… he never looked back!

Shout out to Mollie Goodwin and Vicki Brenneke who were recognized as the top 2 women bowlers in the field! Both dominated at times and made the league tougher for the rest of us!

Let’s not forget the High Senior Larry Traxler who consistently made his way up the leaderboard!

This will probably be the last year we run this league under the “Pin Deck” name. With the pro shop closed, next year will likely bring a new name, a fresh look, and maybe even a different vibe… but the heart of this league … THAT WILL NOT CHANGE!

To our women and senior bowlers: THANK YOU. You brought talent, energy, and character that elevated the entire league. We genuinely hope to see even more of you in the future … this league is better because you’re part of it.

To every single bowler who showed up, competed, laughed, cursed at ten pins, and made Wednesday nights feel like the best night of the week… THANK YOU!

🎳 The Pin Deck Singles Challenge Sponsored by Kia of Columbia – Week 10 Update 🎳

👀 Final Week Incoming…And It’s Gonna Be SPICY 🌶️

After 10 weeks of pins flying, egos bruised, and rivalries created through four game beatdowns… we’ve arrived at the FINAL WEEK of the Pin Deck Singles Challenge!

🏆 The title is still up for grabs….and it’s tighter than a thumbhole in a hot bowling alley in July.😏🥵😅

Bradley Pierce leads with 35 wins, but Ryan Loepke, Damien Laird, Reece Helmka, Saren Yim, and Chris Checkan are just two points behind… and each one is gunning for glory (and maybe a little cash and bragging rights ).

The tension is high, the competition is savage, and someone’s about to either become a legend… or leave wondering why they didn’t switch balls after Game 1. 🤦🏾‍♂️

👋🏾 Come out to AMF Town & Country Lanes this Wednesday at 6:30 PM and watch the madness unfold. It’s free to spectate, and the drama is better than reality TV.
We promise laughs, a fun atmosphere , and at least one person yelling BOOM BABY!!!

🎳 Pin Deck Singles Challenge 2025 Update! 🎳

Tonight, we kick off week 8, and I just want to say this has been one of the best years we’ve ever had!

The scores have been great, the competition has been tight, and…most importantly…everyone seems to be having a genuinely good time. It’s exactly the kind of league atmosphere we always hope for: fun, competitive, and supportive.

Week after week, we’re seeing big games, personal bests, and awesome sportsmanship on the lanes. Whether you’re bowling lights out or fighting through a rough week, the energy in the center has been fantastic.

Also, a HUGE thank you to our sponsor Kia of Columbia for supporting the league again this season. We appreciate you helping us keep the good games rolling! 🚗🎳

🔥 The Pin Deck Singles Challenge is OFFICIALLY…🔥🔥🔥!!!

We’re 2 weeks in and this league is STACKED! Huge turnout. Big scores. Intense matchups. And the best part? We’re just getting started.

Shoutout to everyone who showed up and made this thing grow…this summer is going to be wild! Every week, the competition gets better and the leaderboard changes. 😤

Who’s going to rise to the top? Who’s going to make a run out of nowhere? We’ll find out soon enough… but one thing’s for sure…we’re in for a hell of a ride. 🎳💥

🚨Extremely Long Post Warning🚨
But… Please Read!

After 8 incredible years, it’s time to say goodbye.

Closing the doors to The Pin Deck Pro Shop is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make…not because of the bowling balls on the shelves, the tools, or the drill press…but because of the people. The conversations, the friendships, the shared passion for the game we all love… that’s what made this place more than just a pro shop. It became a home. A safe space to ask questions, to learn, to relax, and to belong.

I’ve watched youth bowlers roll their very first strike. I’ve seen advanced bowlers find new life in their game. I’ve been blessed to witness your highs, support you through the lows, and walk beside you every step of the way. It’s been the honor of a lifetime to be trusted with your equipment, your goals, and your dreams.

This place was never about profit…it was about purpose. About giving back to a sport that gave so much to me. About creating a space where bowlers could feel seen, heard, and supported. And together, we made that happen.

I also want to give my deepest thanks to a few incredible people who stood beside me in this journey and helped bring the vision of The Pin Deck Pro Shop to life:

Casey Creason was the steady hand that often ran the shop on his own. He had a gift for helping people and an unmatched efficiency…he could drill multiple bowling balls in what felt like minutes. His heart for others and passion for the game made him an essential part of the shop’s heartbeat.

Brandon Pierce came in with a thirst for knowledge. He already knew a lot, but he never stopped learning. Brandon soaked up everything quickly and excelled in every aspect of the work. His humility and drive made him extremely valuable to have in the shop.

Josh Tharp was instrumental in getting things moving in the right direction. In the early days, we shared the load, and his dedication helped build a strong foundation. Like Brandon, Josh had a relentless desire to learn and contributed in big ways, time and time again.

Jordan Youngblood helped when he could, and his support never went unnoticed. Over the years, he took in a lot and grew alongside us. His presence added to the spirit of what we built.

I cannot thank these gentlemen enough for their help and support!

Please know:
• All warranty issues will still be handled after we close. Just reach out to me (Damien Laird) and I’ll get you taken care of.
• There will be a smooth transition for any outstanding orders. (Those of you that ordered the Motiv ExJ Jackal, I got you 😉).
• And all sponsorship commitments will continue to be honored.

So this isn’t goodbye to bowling…it’s just goodbye to this chapter. You’ll still see me on the lanes, cheering, competing, helping whenever I can. Because the passion never leaves… it just finds new ways to shine.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for 8 years of trust, laughter, loyalty, and love. You gave this shop its soul. And I’ll carry that with me…always.

Did you know… last year 7th place paid $275?!!1st, 2nd and 3rd place got a bowling ball of their choice. The top two ladies outside of the top 3 places got a bowling ball of their choice. This year… we are going to add that the top SENIOR outside of the top 3 places will get a bowling ball of their choice!!
