a great destination city for football fans. The proposal includes sectioning off parts of downtown and Peace Park in order to create one giant tailgate. Vendors will be available to sell food and drinks and fans will be allowed to roam this massive tailgate. We need to convince people that this idea would be great for students, fans, visitors, downtown businesses, and all of Columbia. It will increase the number of visitors to Columbia helping the entire local economy while creating a more exciting game day atmosphere for everyone.
