Eagle alumni, fans, and supporters, please join us in welcoming Coach Christopher Manogin to the East Marion Eagle Family as he brings his passion and leadership to serve as our Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for all sports, Assistant Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers Coach, and Head Coach for both boys’ and girls’ track and field.
Coach Manogin is an expert strength and conditioning coach and sports performance specialist with over 24 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has served as an assistant football coach, track coach, and health teacher across various high schools, colleges, and training camps. Notably, he has successfully trained athletes who have been drafted into the NFL and other professional leagues.
A graduate of Lanier High School and Hinds Community College, Coach Manogin earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Health Education with a Sport Science Concentration in Management from Jackson State University. He also holds a Master’s in Teaching from Belhaven University. While at JSU, he served as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Advisor Assistant.
Coach Manogin is committed to helping students of all ages and fitness levels achieve their personal objectives. He is dedicated to his students' well-being, focusing on building well-rounded athletes while developing elite athletic performance.
