Good morning Everyone! We are asking all of our parents to consider serving in our concession stand at some point this season. We are trying to improve on all levels, including concessions, and we need your help to do it!

🚨Tyrrell County Schools has made the decision to operate on a Two-Hour Delay for Tuesday, December 9, 2025 due to inclement weather and the possibility of hazardous road conditions. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and the delay will allow for better visibility and crews to clear roads. If there is a need to cancel school for tomorrow or go into remote learning status, a further update will be provided by 8 a.m. on 12/9/25. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

**Important information**

We will have a skills day for our 7-9 year old boys on Saturday, December 6th at the Tyrrell Elementary School gym from 9-10. We would love all players to be there so we can split the two teams up and start practicing.

We are in need of coaches - we need two 4-6 year old coaches and one for the coed 10-12 year old team.

We’re excited for this upcoming season! 🏀 📣

🥎 SOFTBALL DEFENSE CLINIC 🥎

Ask and you shall receive!!! The trio is back later this month for another exciting, beneficial, and fun event!!!!
This one will focus on a very important, game changing part of the game, DEFENSE!!! If you participated in one of their camps before, you know they take this part of the game very serious as this is a major part of their success and also being recruited at the highest level. The camp will feature several fun and competitive drills that will benefit girls of all ages. We will even have the radar gun out to test out throwing velocity. We offer more than just hitting here as our whole facility can be converted to a huge open space where players can throw, field ground balls, and participate in several defensive drills. Grab your spot soon as it is only $50 for this very unique experience!!! Link is below

We’re looking for dedicated volunteers — parents, community members, and even responsible older youth — to help make our Basketball and Cheer programs a success this year.

Good afternoon! Winter Sports applications are supposed to be going home with all Tyrrell Elementary School students today please check their book bags!! If you have already completed an application online you do not have to complete a paper form.

The early bird special is over and the registration fee is $40. We do have need based scholarships available.

Payments will be accepted at the following times and locations:

Tonight (11/12) in the TES Lobby from 5-6:00
Thursday - TES Gym from 5:30-6:30
Friday - TES Gym 5:00-6:00
Saturday- TES from 9:30-11

We hope to close all registrations on Saturday the 15th so that we can start to prepare for scheduling. Please spread the word!
