Klunk - Bicycle Service & Sales A service focused shop offering repair on all makes and models of Bicycles. I am a mechanic, not a sales person. I am here to help in any way I can.

My goal is the help maintain your existing bike or help you get the right bike for your particular riding style. I stock New and Used Bicycles, New Parts and Accessories. I get it, the internet is here to stay and internet deals won't go away. From Internet bike assembly, to parts installs, if you're nice I might even tell you about a sweet deal I found online. Sure I would love to sell you a bike

Tomorrow is the final day! There is still a lot of stuff left. To help move things along I will price almost everything at Employee Pricing, 10% over cost. On many items the sale price is already at or below 10% mark-up. Tons of Gravel, Mountain, and Hybrid tires, parts & accessories. Remaining new bikes are discounted even deeper! It’s with a very heavy heart that I announce the closing of the shop. It is hard to believe that it's been almost 19 years! The past 2 years though have proven that the current business model is no longer sustainable and the overhead to operate in my current location is too high. Bicycle sales are as bad as I can remember and I am finding it impossible to do enough repairs in a day to make this work. Blame it on our post Covid world in general, the supply chain issues the past couple of years, the current economy and lack of consumer demand, the attractiveness of online shopping for parts & cheap E-bikes, an increase in competition for used inventory, a changing bicycle retail landscape, retail burnout on my part, or some combination of it all. The main objective is to cut overhead, cut stress and move away from a traditional retail store front.

I will remain open at least through November and plan to be out of my current location at the end of the year. All New Bikes are now discounted to liquidate remaining inventory. Accessories and some Parts will be on sale too (some limitations apply). Used inventory is already inexpensive. Many project bikes for the DIY types will be available. All sales are final. More sale info will follow in the days and weeks to come.

I am taking this time and considering all of my options. I may reemerge in a much smaller, repair only capacity. I suppose time will tell. For now though, I must pull the plug on my existing operation so I can better assess my situation. Thank you all so much for the support over the past 18+ years.
