🚴‍♀️ Cycling Without Age Perth is recruiting volunteers - across all 14 locations!

Would you love to make a difference in the lives of older people in our community?

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help create memorable experiences through the joy of cycling. 🌿😊

✨ What’s involved?
• Commitment of approximately 6–8 hours per month (around two shifts)
• Training provided — if you can ride a bike, you can learn to ride a trishaw
• Meet wonderful people and be part of a friendly, community-focused team
• Help bring smiles, connection and a little adventure to our passengers

You just can't really explain a morning like this. You have to stand there and watch it happen. That's what Bendigo Bank did last week. A PR team came up from Victoria, spent the morning with us, and saw the thing we get to see every single time.

Two riders, one sunny morning, and a grin you could see from the car park. Then the bikes rolled out, good people either side of them. For a bit, that was the whole world.

Of all the community groups they could have spotlighted, they picked us. And they didn't just send an email about it. They turned up. So this one's a thank you. To Bendigo Bank, for choosing us, and for coming out to see it for themselves.

Full trishaw, everyone waving, nobody in a hurry to get anywhere.

That's a good morning. Nothing fancy happens out there. The pilot up the back doing the work, two riders in the seat. You roll along the water, you point at the dogs, you chat about nothing, you wave at strangers who wave back. A good 45 minutes later, everyone's a bit pink in the cheeks and in a better mood than when they arrived. That's the entire trick.
