Checking in with everyone from My family vacation in Florida !! 🌴☀️

A little bit of leave won’t distract us from our mission of raising $10,000 for K9s For Warriors
There mission to rehabilitate shelter dogs and traumatized veterans through the creation of unbreakable bonds is what our motivation is all about !

Knocked out a trial 7 mile, (metrics posted) which blue joined me for three of ! We focused on form and controlling breathing during stronger efforts. We of course refueled post workout with some lean protein and quality carbs! I appreciate all the support and attention to these posts!!! Spartan Nick Bare

There you have it PFC Trevor Killips has officially declared war on gravity and gotten extremely committed to his protein and water intake! As knowledgeable and motivated army soldiers we understand that our fitness can only take us so far if it’s not complemented by a well balanced and science based diet !! 🥦🥩🍚🤟🏼

We also snuck in another 3 mile engine builder and some running specific stretching and mobility today! 💪🏼

I’m having an absolute blast sharing my knowledge of fitness and nutrition with fellow soldiers and look forward to seeing my own personal growth on this journey as well !!

Back at it today! Me and SPC Thomas utilized the SPRC facility at fort Jackson where we’re surrounded by highly skilled and highly experienced individuals within the fitness community.

We did a variety of movements today with an emphasis on full body power/ plyo and upper body muscular endurance.

I appreciate the hustle today from SPC Thomas pushing me to squeeze out a couple extra reps and of course my wife for the camera work📸

Got in some quality work with PFC Killips Trevor Killips and one of our Brigade providers Nicolle Kimes Braxton !!!

A couple easy miles followed by some VERY intentional interval work and a VERY intentional sandbag carry finisher !

Every part of today’s workout highlights a major component of obstacle course racing and thanks to the participation we took our first major step towards our goal of large, organized and team oriented PT sessions! I appreciate y’all’s effort and motivation this morning !!!
