Effie Craver makes it our 6th CIS track athlete to earn all state honors with a 6th place finish in the 3200 meters. Effie ran 12:30.39 which breaks the school record she set by 14 seconds.

Effie becomes the second girls athlete to medal at this years championships and marks the first time CIS has seen multiple girls and boys medalists at the same state championship event. Great job Coach Radkowiec, Coach Sanders, and the entire Lion track teams.

It’s multiple state medals for Lions Track as the 4x200 relay team of Deolu Adibiyi, Mustapha Salau, Pablo Bran, and Raphael Eboreime finished 8th overall with a school record 1:32.86. This is the first all-state relay in school history. Congratulations to this group.

Congratulations to Syrena Sadler who becomes just the second Lion girls track athlete to medal at the state track championships. Syrena finished 5th in the Class 1 girls triple jump Saturday morning. Proud of your efforts!

Boys 4 x 200 relay prelims- Friday 12:30 (Must finish top 8 to qualify for finals on Saturday)

Raphael 400 meter prelims-Friday 2:30(Must finish top 8)

Boys 4 x 400 relay prelims-Friday 5:45(Must finish top 8)
