Rescue isn’t just about animals… it’s about patience, consistency, and love in action 🐾

Today I’m feeling grateful and present.
Walking Melody, training, working—doing the little things that actually build a life.

Melody is a rescue Pitbull/Bulldog, a little under 2 years old, and already had a litter.

People ask me…
“Is it hard to train a dog with that kind of past?”

Honestly… no.

When you lead with calm, structure, and consistency, healing happens.

She is incredible. Still just a baby learning how to feel safe again.

At GodFit, this is what we teach people too.
Your body can relearn safety. Your mind can reset. Your spirit can reconnect.

But let me be real for a second…

What does make me angry 😡

Walking Melody and seeing drivers fly by at 90 in a 25.
No slowing down. No awareness. No respect for life.

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to the Holy Bible App on Instagram 🙏

It has truly been such a blessing in my life.

No matter what I’m going through, there is always a plan waiting for me…
whether it’s anxiety, fear, stress, or just needing peace in a moment that feels overwhelming.

I’ve found plans that help bring me back to center, back to God, and back to truth.
It’s like having quiet guidance right when I need it most.

Lately, I’ve been using it during my mornings and before bed, and it’s helped me slow down, breathe, and reflect instead of letting the world rush in.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just searching for something deeper… I truly encourage you to explore it. There is something for everyone.

How amazing is God… can we get an Amen 🙏

Today is about gratitude.

Gratitude for the moments that ground us when life feels heavy. Gratitude for the Word of God that brings peace into places we didn’t even realize were unsettled. Gratitude for community.

I want to thank Colts Neck Community Church for making the Bible feel understandable, real, and straight to the point. No confusion, just truth. And this week… I truly needed that.

It hasn’t been an easy week, but I’m learning that even in the hard moments, there is always something to be thankful for. Sometimes peace doesn’t come from everything going right… it comes from remembering Who is in control.

I also have so much gratitude for my sister Jodi. She has been speaking about the Bible for as long as I can remember. Truly, like a walking Bible dictionary. Since we were little, she never stopped. I remember being at the beach and her telling us the story of Jesus walking on water like it was happening right in front of us.

That kind of faith stays with you.

Thank God for her heart, her faith, and her consistency.

I’m so proud and excited for her—her second book is being published. God is moving, and it’s beautiful to witness.

Also, my sister is a children’s book author and is looking for places to do book signings. If anyone knows of any opportunities or has connections, please let me know. She’s not on Facebook… lucky her ❤️
