BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: JOE GONZALES, VICE PRESIDENT 🏈🪑

Joe might be a man of few words, but his Browns loyalty speaks volumes! Originally from Lorain, Ohio, Joe landed in Colorado Springs back in 1986. He met Kevin a year later, joined the Pikes Peak Browns Backers, and has been bleeding orange and brown with us ever since. 39 years in Colorado, zero years wavering on Cleveland! 🏈🐶

Meet Your Board Member & Treasurer: Kevin! 🏈🧡🤎

If there’s someone who truly embodies the heart and history of the Pikes Peak Browns Backers, it’s Kevin.

Originally from Marysville, OH, and a 1979 Bowling Green State University grad, Kevin brought his lifelong devotion to the Dawg Pound West to Colorado—and he’s lived through some of the most iconic (and painful!) moments in franchise history. Yes, he was living in Aurora during "The Drive" and was physically in the stands for "The Fumble." That’s true loyalty!

Kevin moved to Colorado Springs in 1986, and by 1990, he connected with Rich Billingsley while gathering with fellow fans at The Clubhouse on Kiowa. Driven to make things official, Kevin reached out to the Cleveland Browns front office and officially founded the Pikes Peak Browns Backers (Charter #34)!

Under his guidance, the club became an official Colorado non-profit on New Year’s Eve in 1992 and earned full 501(c)(3) status in 2019. Kevin served as our Club President for three decades (1992–2022, handing the reins briefly to Tim Veloney from 2000–2002 while living in Denver).

BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: JEFF BOWMAN, SECRETARY 🏈🪑

For Jeff, being a Cleveland Browns fan isn't just a hobby—it’s in his DNA.

Growing up, Jeff was immersed in the team’s rich history alongside his dad, John, a lifelong Browns fan. Together, they met legendary players like Brian Sipe and Ozzie Newsome, starting a proud family legacy of holding season tickets for over 50 years. Though John passed away two years ago, his passion for the Browns lives on strong through Jeff every single game day.

A former Euclid High School football player and wrestler, Jeff’s love for Cleveland sports runs deep across all teams. Whether at the stadium or yelling at the TV (a habit his wife, Michelle, can attest to for the last 36 years! 😂), Jeff brings endless passion to the club.

Pikes Peak Browns Backers—the wait is over! Week 1 of the 2026 NFL Regular Season kicks off this Sunday as our Cleveland Browns take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Even bigger news: We are officially kicking off the season at our BRAND NEW spot: Stoney’s Bar & Grill in Downtown Colorado Springs!

Thomas was born in Cleveland, so being a Browns fan has been part of who he is for as long as he can remember. Even after making the move to Colorado, he has stayed deeply connected to Cleveland sports and the teams he grew up cheering for.

When it comes to Browns legends and fan favorites, Thomas's pick is current star running back Nick Chubb, whose toughness, work ethic, and dedication embody what it means to be a Cleveland Brown

🏈 Meet Lynn!

Originally from Salem, Ohio (right between Canton and Youngstown), Lynn grew up watching Browns games with her dad and has been a loyal fan ever since.

Fun fact: Her very first date with her husband was at a Browns game! 🧡🤎

Lynn made the move to Colorado when her husband was stationed at Fort Carson, and she’s been cheering on the Browns from Broncos country ever since. Her all-time favorite Browns player? Bernie Kosar.

Hey Browns Fans! I had the opportunity today to check out our new home at Stoney's for their soft opening. The food was delicious 😋, drinks even better 🍻 and can't wait for you all to fill the space watching our Browns play! 🧡🤎
