Basic: NRA Basic Pistol Class to familiarize new handgun owners with how to use, maintain and store pistols in a SAFE manner. This course meets the training requirement to obtain a concealed carry permit in Colorado. Class is 8 hours in duration for both the range time and classroom portion. CCW/Defensive Pistol Class: This course was developed by me based on three tours of duty in Operation Iraqi

Freedom for the effective tactical utilization of handguns. This class exceeds the requirements for concealed carry permits. Focus is on how to utilize a concealed pistol in a self-defense situation. Class is 4 hours long. Active Killer Response Class: WE--armed citizens--have to be the ones to stop America's Active Killer Epidemic! Developed by combat veterans and SWAT cops, this class teaches armed civlians how to effectively and quickly STOP an active killer incident so lives can be saved. Learn the three types of ambushes and how to deal with each. Learn the 6 universal principles of self-defense. This class is for experienced and novice shooters, not beginners. Class is $215 in cash, you will need a pistol, a carry holster, belt, extra mag pouch and 200 rounds of ammo. Bring water, a chair, a hat, light colored clothing and comfortable shoes. This course will start where my Defensive Pistol Class finishes, with shooting and moving. All students MUST pre-register at least one week before the class by calling (719) 964-8234.

Good class today...little warm, but we beat the downpour. Next class will be the last weekend of September. I'm going to run a sale this fall and winter. $80 for the 8 hour class, $50 for the 2 hour refresher. Get armed, get trained and get more dangerous than the lunatics.
