Wow… .colorado, we did it.

Our first-ever Regional Meet is officially in the books, and it was nothing short of incredible.

I’m always in awe of the caliber of athletes that show up to our meets. From first-time lifters to seasoned competitors, all ages, all levels of strength—this is what makes our community so special.

91 athletes.
200+ spectators.
Live DJ.
10 vendors.

This was more than just a meet—it was an experience. And I’m so grateful I get to create something like this for such an amazing strength community.

Throwback Thursday

Reflecting back Spartan wasn’t just a place to train.
It was a place that opened doors — to knowledge, connections, and incredible athletes at the highest levels of the sport.

From seminars to training sessions to meets, we were lucky to share space with lifters who helped shape our journey in powerlifting.

Forever thankful for this chapter. 🏋️‍♀️

Seven years ago, we opened Spartan Strength Systems with one goal:
to create a home for strength athletes — a place where community mattered just as much as the weight on the bar.

It breaks our hearts to share that Spartan Strength Systems will be closing at the end of this month.

This decision was not made lightly. With rising overhead costs and the current economy, we are no longer able to sustainably keep the gym open. While that reality is incredibly painful, what we built here will always mean more to us than the walls themselves.

For seven years, our members have been our family. The friendships, PRs, late nights, meet prep, laughter, tears, and support inside this gym are things we will carry with us forever.

This is not the end of the Spartan community.

We will continue hosting meets, supporting lifters, and staying deeply involved in the strength world. Joe will continue offering programs, and our commitment to this community remains unchanged — even if the space does.

January 23rd will be our final day at the gym.
We’ll be planning one last get-together that day for anyone who wants to come train, take photos, and spend time together in the space one more time.

Thank you for trusting us, believing in us, and helping make Spartan Strength Systems what it was.
This place existed because of you.

Forever Spartan. 🖤⚔️
