Today is a little bitter sweet, For the 2022 season the Dacono BMX Initiative will not be operating Dacono BMX. Mile High BMX was awarded the Track Operations Contract through a request for proposal process. Though we are a bit heartbroken to hear the news we wish them the best of luck in 2022. For the last 3 years the Steuart Family has been a staple of the track. Their family spent countless hours maintaining, cleaning, and operating this one of a kind facility here in Colorado. Their passion and devotion to Colorado BMX is unmatched and is undoubtedly under appreciated. They truly embodied volunteerism in its purest form. We must also thank Deak Brown who served in so many capacities Announcer, Dad, Coach, Medic, Motivator, Maintenance Director, and all around professional. To our Volunteers who came week in and week out to make the track run so well, for the weeds you pulled and tending to downed riders we appreciate you more than you know. To our member base of parents who came to our races and really made every race exciting by cheering on your loved ones and last but not least our Riders who raced their hearts out all year and showing class and sportsmanship and representing the track so well. We will truly miss each and everyone of you next year. As for the initiatives future we will begin focusing our efforts on a new track in Colorado and look forward to see you all on opening day when we have the new facility up and running. THANK YOU ALL FOR 3 WONDERFUL YEARS!
