Although it was cold and snowy, the boxing class had to go on! And it did!! I was able to train 1-1 with this guy and it was a great session!! Afterwards, I headed over to an Open Mat and got some much needed rolls in. (‘cause, ya know, I need to make my 400 roll goal.) Both training sessions were great! Thanks for allowing me to teach boxing at your establishment! Thank you for always welcoming me anytime I go to open mat!

It was a great 1-1 class today!! We left our frustrations on the bag with LOTS of bag work!!! Ending class with body work, core, and even some lifting!! Started the week with boxing! I partnered with a newbie and it was great! She worked and didn’t stop, didn’t complain and just did the damn thing. Seriously, I love sharing my love for the sport! Come train with us!!
Classes are held daily! If you don’t want to try boxing, try kickboxing, BJJ, or grappling!! Or just come check it out!

Month of September brought lots of learning experiences. Lost by arm bar in my first tournament in two years; highlighting what I need to work on. Pushing myself to go to more open mats, and I did! 🙌🏽 For the month of October, a new goal is to attend two open mats. As for my roll count for the year, I had a total of 30 rolls for September, brining the total year count to 307! On to conquering my goals this month! AND if you want to try BJJ, come see us!!!

When Coach is in charge of taking pictures, you never know what you’ll get!! 😆 Yesterday’s Women’s Boxing class was all about FOOTWORK!! Knowing where your feet should be is key in building strong foundations for boxing. Both of these women work hard and I love sharing my knowledge with them!! Ladies!! After teaching boxing, went to an open mat with my hubs. It was hosted by MidLife Rollers at Renzo Gracie Colorado. This mornings Women’s Boxing class was footwork heavy, along with focus on keeping your non punching hand up. Biggest mistake peeps make when learning to box is dropping your non punching hand! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I did too , but learned the hard way when sparring! 😅🙄
