Have you ever seen a crocodile this big before?

Did you know the crocodiles in Costa Rica can get seriously huge?

🐊 It's pretty wild thinking about how massive they get in places like the Tarcoles River! I've seen some videos, and honestly, they're awe-inspiring. I'm curious about what makes them grow to such impressive sizes in that environment. Maybe it's the plentiful food sources and the perfect climate? It makes me want to visit and see these giants for myself!

No lighter. No matches. Just a bamboo fire saw, friction, and determination.

Deep in the jungles of Costa Rica, fire is survival. It provides warmth, clean water, cooked food, protection, and a fighting chance in the wild.

This primitive fire making method uses dry bamboo, friction, prepared tinder, and precise technique to create a glowing ember. In a humid tropical jungle, it takes endurance, patience, and serious pain tolerance.

Your hands cramp. Your shoulders burn. Your lungs fight for air. The bamboo gets hotter, but there is still no flame.

That is when the real survival challenge begins.

Do you quit because it hurts, or do you keep going until smoke becomes an ember and the ember becomes fire?

This is real jungle survival in Costa Rica. No modern fire starter. No backup plan. Just primitive skills, natural materials, and the will to survive.
