USA Blind Soccer Blind Soccer has been a Paralympic sport since 2004 but the U.S. has never had a team. Until now. and develop a national team for LA28.

Named the National Governing Body for Blind Soccer by the USOPC in 2022, USABA will grow the sport around the U.S.

That’s a wrap! An action-packed weekend of blind soccer comes to a close in Seattle, with Kazakhstan lifting the trophy after a thrilling final match against Peru.

Team USA, Peru, and Kazakhstan were each awarded medals following the championship match, presented by Peter Tomozawa, Chief Executive Officer of the Local Organizing Committee, and former Seattle Sounders player Kelyn Rowe.

A truly unforgettable weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the athletes throughout the tournament!

As Hedda McLendon, Senior Vice President of the Local Organizing Committee, explains, the event featured powerful first-hand stories and conversations from blind and deaf soccer athletes, coaches, and leaders shaping the future of adaptive sport around the world.

The U.S. Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) is officially scouting for the next generation of talent for the USA Blind Soccer National Teams! Whether you are an aspiring athlete or a seasoned player, this Virtual Scouting Combine is your chance to showcase your skills from anywhere in the country.

How it works:

Record videos of yourself performing specific soccer drills (dribbling, shooting, and agility).

Submit your videos and registration form online.

Get evaluated by national team coaches!
This combine is open to athletes and goalkeepers.

It is with great excitement we announce the USA Blind Soccer International Cup being held at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, California November 9-10, 2024.
