Bobcats are not often seen at Lake Colorado City SP, but are always present. A master of camouflaging in our mesquite.

UHH OHHH BRONTO! 🦕

It appears Bronto strolled through the park early this morning! Visitors reported she waded through the lake, spent some time bird watching, and did her best to avoid disturbing any ground squirrels!

We were sad to see her leave and head off to her next park, but it was great to see her for awhile! 💚

Due to staffing shortages, the office at Lake Colorado City State Park will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The park is still open. Please use the self-pay box or go online to make reservations!
