This group of girls played in there last fall tournament this weekend. They went to 1-2 against some pretty good teams. We are proud of have they swung the bat and how much they have improved over the short fall season. We’re ready to work hard over the winter break and come back better in the spring!

6G Softball 12u is holding tryouts / open practices looking for 1-2 players to round out our roster for the upcoming spring season.

Practice held at Collinwood Dixie Youth fields,
101 Bratton Dr. Collinwood, TN 38450. (We will update if weather moves us into our indoor facility)

Thank you Laney for being this weeks guest player! Our girls played well and left it on the field. We went 2-2 in the Monster Mash tournament getting 2nd in the silver bracket. Not only did they play well they dressed up as crayons and got their coaches in tutus… I believe they even got one to turn a cartwheel. Thanks to all the parents that helped decorate and make the day fun.

We have one more tournament this fall and each week we’re excited to see their growth. That being said, we have one out do to prior obligations and are looking for an additional guest player if anyone is interested.

Thank you to our returning guest player, Ady. We had a pretty rough second game today and while we got put out in bracket play, things started to come together. Sadly, after 2 innings of international tiebreaker, we fell to a pretty good Sandlot team. This group of young ball players have big things in their futures!

Our 12u softball team is selling chicken stew this fall. The stew is prepared in a ServSafe kitchen by ServSafe cooks. Prices are $11 for a quart, $20 for a half gallon, and $35 for a gallon. If you’ve purchased food anywhere over the past 3 years, you know this is a good value while helping out a great group of young ladies. The stew will be available for pickup on Oct 21, just in time to watch Alabama take on the Vols and Auburn play the Rebels. As always, thank you for your support.
