Officials are ESSENTIAL to the success of high school athletics.
We are looking for men and women to become wrestling officials.
Think you can make the right call from the stands? Is it really easier than it looks? Then come out and give back to the world’s oldest and greatest sport!

Sign up for next season. Join CIWOA to become a HS official.
Once registered we will be in touch to begin your officiating journey. You will take a test and attend a mandatory rules interpretation meeting. We will teach you things you thought you already knew and then some. The experience will prove to be worth your while with great pay. Too busy to try? Then make your own schedule and referee when you can!

Nominations are open for the Connecticut Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Please submit completed applications by May 1, 2026, for consideration in the next induction class. The nomination form is on the chapter's website. https://ctwrestling7.homestead.com/HallofFame.html

Any person may nominate an individual for induction into the Connecticut Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Please complete and submit the nomination form. You also need to mail several items to Nick Grosso, the chapter’s Vice President of Nominations by email ([email protected]) or by U.S. mail at 511 Cardinal Lane, Cheshire, CT 06410.

Fifty-nine men and women have been recognized for their contributions to wrestling in the state of Connecticut.
