July Progress Update at The Gate ⛳
The practice range continues to come to life as the grass fills in and matures. Each week, we're seeing more healthy growth across the range, and the transformation is becoming easier to spot.

The Golf Shop interior finishes are now complete and work on the Hitting Bay canopy is progressing nicely.

We're also excited to welcome Alex McDougall as Assistant General Manager and Chef Antoine Frazier as Executive Chef. Their experience and passion for hospitality will help shape the future of The Gate.

At The Gate, we're building more than a golf destination, we're investing in our community.

We're dedicated to providing high-quality experiences at affordable rates for Southwest Florida families, educating and training the next generation of hospitality and golf professionals, and introducing young players to the game.

Beyond the course, The Gate will create meaningful career opportunities, support local economic growth, and serve as a place where people can learn, work, and connect. The excitement is already building, and we've received many inquiries about employment opportunities.

Hiring announcements will be coming later this year, so be sure to follow along for updates.

Meet Cece Zenti, a longtime Naples resident of the Fairways at Par One community who has served in leadership roles with the Golden Gate Civic Association and the Economic Development Advisory Board. Since 2008, she has been an advocate for preserving and enhancing the Golden Gate golf course property.

Having witnessed this journey from the beginning, her perspective reflects the excitement so many are feeling as The Gate Golf Club prepares to open later this year.

We’re excited to share the latest progress from June!

🌱 The practice range has been sprigged and is already showing strong early growth, with improvements each week.

At The Bays, the hitting bay canopy is taking shape, while interior work continues across the property, including the Oakwood Restaurant where the vision is coming to life. Site-wide improvements are also moving forward.

We’ve also introduced new Junior Tee Markers with First Tee – Naples/Collier ⛳️, bringing core values onto the course and creating a meaningful experience for young golfers.

Exciting progress everywhere, with more updates coming soon!
