Wear your rhinestones and tease your hair - we’re celebrating the incredible life of Dolly Parton.

Next Thursday, every class will be in honor of her legacy and music. You can wear a costume or not, but get ready to sing along, and please bring a new or VERY gently used children’s book that we will donate in her name.

A little tip …

Working hard for 6-8 reps is more impactful than easily finishing 15. We firmly believe you can build strength with your body weight or light weights, like what we use in our barre classes. But those exercises work the muscle in a lengthened state, and we spend MUCH longer in each exercise to reach the fatigue required for muscle growth. When you’re using dumbbells and kettlebells and working in shorter intervals, you need to intentionally load the muscle and reach for fatigue.

Effort over ease, always with perfect form. Let’s get stronger together.

Happy birthday to this dancing queen 👸🏼

Sara is grace and strength in equal measure! And so talented - we’ve yet to find something she doesn’t excel at! Teaching, dancing, mixology, police work, mom-ing, and more. Sara does it ALL, and still finds time to pour into our community at Rise. She brings a calming, grounded, capable presence to our team, and our staff and students feel her care deeply.

Sara, we are in awe of you, and we celebrate you today! HBD!
