The Saint John's University athletic communications office earned 25 awards when the results of the College Sports Communicators Creative & Digital Design Contest were announced at the annual CSC (formerly CoSIDA) Convention June 7-10 in Las Vegas.

SJU trailed only Carthage (Wis.) for most honors in Division III and was one of 10 schools of any division to eclipse 20 total awards. Saint John's led DIII with awards in 11 different categories and was the only MIAC institution with double-digit accolades.

Congratulations to the five Saint John's student-athletes who were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District baseball team today!

Nominees must be a sophomore or older with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher. On the field, nominees must have played 90 percent of their team's games or started 66 percent of the season. Pitchers must have made either 17 appearances or pitched 25 innings to be eligible at the time of nomination (May 26).

SJU is the first school in the MIAC to reach 10,000 followers on Instagram! Also the first single-gender athletic department in the country, fourth of any level in the State of Minnesota and 18th in NCAA Division III.

Congratulations to Saint John's freshman Max Edwards, who today was was named the D3baseball.com Region 9 Pitcher of the Year and Rookie of the Year, and garnered first-team All-Region 9 distinction from both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)!

The SJU baseball program has now had 44 All-Region selections since 2010.

Ryan Bugler '17 won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships 10 years ago despite being seeded 17th out of 20 competitors in the event.
