FINALLY back at it after a 10+ week hiatus for her broken finger to heal (volleyball). She had an really great training session and it was so nice seeing her coach again!!

Next week indoor state championship and entertaining indoor nationals. We shall see.

Missouri State JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) Championship was a roaring success!!
👇🏻This girl rocked it today🏹
👉🏻1st Place Female Barebow Recurve in her age division & she broke the state record!!!! BAM baby!!
👉🏻2020 Best Barebow Junior Archer
👉🏻2021 Best Barebow Junior Archer
👉🏻Awarded a scholarship through the Missouri Bowhunter's Association for her competition attendance on the State and National levels.

Her club did awesome too!! Lots of medals and smiles all around.

JOAD National Championship Day #4: Elimination Rounds (sorry for the delay, we drove back right after the competition, got home, and passed out)!!
This is a fun day of competition with the same group that had been competing seriously over the past few days. While this is still intense competition (which included one arrow shoot outs) the archers were joking, giving each other fist bumps, and having fun being social and doing what they do. Needless to say, Hayden did a great job!!She earned another bronze medal🥉!!
Hayden took off to the lake before I could get a pic of both of the medals but it will be posted tomorrow when she gets back.
So proud of Hayden and all of the girls shooting. She has been BEAMING💙🏹🥉

JOAD National Championship Day #3: It started really late due to weather delays (like over 2 hours late) but it ended up being a great day! Hayden shot really well and has been all smiles. She made new and lasting friendships with kids from all over💙 They are already snap chatting and talking about future tournaments🤣 Waiting on the results. It's a close one!!

JOAD National Championship Day #2🏹. Hayden did good🙏🏻. She is happy with her performance and knows where she needs to make her adjustments. She is making friends and memories with kids all over the U.S. It is beautiful💜There was a bit of rain, it got hot, and the fields were soaking wet but what a day!

JOAD Nationals Day #1: equipment check and practice, which is particularly important due to shooting in the rain. Needless to say, she has met and has been chatting it up with some of the other shooters. Just blessed to be here and that she is having a good time.
