Last night getting the win was just a bonus in this journey. We shared a full circle moment this weekend with Chris Mapp. He came to us years ago as he was going into his sophomore year in highschool. He was good kid just needed more male mentors in his life and thats the role that Coach Drew and Coach Bobby took on. They introduced him to mixed martial arts and wrestling. Chris found his passion and grew to love the sport of wrestling, Chris like every other teenager just needed the positive vibes around him to succeed. Chris graduated highschool and earned a scholarship in wrestling, evening during his years away from collegestation and in another state, chris still was checking in and looking for advise when it was needed. He graduated college, and came back three months ago to start training again looking to finally give back to his coaches and step in that cage. 
You have coaches and trainers, and we’re happy to say these two men are coaches. Drew and Bobby coach and mentor fighters, athletes, friends, and members in and out the gym. Seeing Chris last night step in that cage and going back eight years ago when his momma walked him into the gym was insane. We’re all proud of Mr. Mapp!
