Three simple tests...grip, balance, and leg strength...are some of the best predictors we have of how well, and how long, you'll age. Try all three at home and see where you land:

💪 GRIP — Hang from a bar (or hold a 40–60 lb weight)

🔴 Under 20s · 🟡 20–40s · 🟢 40s+
🦵 BALANCE — One leg, eyes open, arms crossed

🔴 Under 10s · 🟡 10–40s · 🟢 40s+
🪑 SIT-TO-STAND — From a chair, 30 seconds, no hands

🔴 Under 12 · 🟡 12–20 · 🟢 20+
(Numbers shift with age and s*x — younger? Aim a little higher.)

Here's the part that matters: every one of these is trainable, at any age. Where you start doesn't decide where you finish.

Taco night, reworked. Same bold, smoky flavor — built to fuel you instead of flatten you. 47g protein, under 500 calories, 30 minutes start to finish.
Serves 2:

12 oz chicken breast · 1 cup black beans · 1 cup cauliflower rice · 2 bell peppers · 1 onion · ½ avocado · olive oil + fajita seasoning · pico, lime, cilantro
Toss the chicken in oil and fajita seasoning and sear 5–6 minutes, then slice. Blister the peppers and onion in the same pan.

Warm the beans and cauliflower rice. Build the bowl and finish with avocado, pico, and a squeeze of lime.

After 55, there are two very different ways to "train"...and the difference matters far more than the label on the door.

A program is a template: one plan, a large class, generic and built for the average. You fit yourself into it.

Real coaching is built around you...your body, your history, the conditions your doctor wants respected, and what you actually want to be able to do: pick up a grandkid, carry luggage through an airport, get off the floor without a struggle. A coach watches your form on every rep, adjusts in real time, and progresses you over months. It's a relationship, not a package.

The 3 movements every adult over 40 should be able to do without a second thought 👇 (and the everyday moments they protect)

1️⃣ Carry something heavy across the room.
Groceries, luggage, the laundry basket, a grandkid. Coaches call it a loaded carry — real-world strength you use literally every day.

2️⃣ Stand up from a seated position — without your hands.
Off the couch, out of a low chair, up off the floor. The humble sit-to-stand quietly predicts how independent you stay for decades.

3️⃣ Pick something up off the floor.
A dropped bag, a toddler, a 40-lb sack of dog food. Done with a strong hip hinge, it’s the difference between “I’ve got it” and a wrecked back.

Notice none of these are about how you look. They’re about staying strong enough to do the things you love — at 50, 60, 70 and beyond — without thinking twice.

That’s what we actually coach. Not workouts for the sake of workouts — strength that shows up in your real life. Since 2003.
