Lehigh Valley 7s Recap

Never satisfied with second, but this summer’s Lehigh Valley 7s tournament was a great pre-season opportunity to introduce a number of players to Beltway premier. Hats off to for an exceptional performance in the final.

This weekend was about building something bigger.

Eight players earned their first minutes with the Beltway Elite Premier side, representing seven clubs from across the DMV.

The result was a solid preseason showing, valuable lessons, and a clearer picture of the level of competition expected throughout the qualifier season.

1: Justin Chatman - manager turned player, looking for great things
2: Aidan Parson - Young man been playing with the big dogs for years. Time to show it on a bigger stage.
3: Adam Wiley - Always ready to pick up the shovel and do the dirty work.
4: Ben Carroll - Known for tackling above his weight, watch for his creativity on offense.
5: Joanel Joseph - Slipperiest guy I know. Just keeps getting better and better. He’s 53 years old!
6: Jamison Hulbert - Hard nosed on both sides of the ball. Rugby is in his blood.
7: Roman Johnsonbaugh - His kicks bring rain, but his step brings pain.
10: Quinn Western - Great to have him back in the fold. The most dangerous man in Spain.
12: Brandon Drummond - “Sweetness”. You love to watch him play, poetry in motion.
13: Ben Sylvestre - Youngest guy on the team. A true 5-tool player. Remember his name.
14: Jordan Bakouche - The prodigal son has returned. Amazing person off the field, fire on it.
15: Brady Daniel - Another amazing person off the field. On the field, he takes souls.

Of course, El Capitán, #8, Luc Desroches - This man brings pure determination and willpower to any team he leads. The truest leader by example I’ve ever known.
