🌞 Summer 2024 Recap: Favor House Inc. 🌞

As we reflect on an incredible summer, we're filled with gratitude and pride for all we've accomplished together. Here's a look back at the impactful work we’ve done:

🏃‍♂️ Empowering Youth: Our track and field program saw record participation, with our athletes competing in statewide and national tournaments, showcasing their talent and determination.

🥗 Community Support: Our mobile pantries/food giveaways served nearly 40,000lbs of food and fresh produce and thousands of households, ensuring they had essential food items and a nutritious summer.

🎓 Educational Initiatives: Our summer learning programs helped bridge the educational gap, offering tutoring and enrichment activities that kept students engaged and learning.

🌟 New Achievement: We’re excited to announce that Favor House Inc. has earned the 2024 Silver Seal of Transparency with ! This recognition highlights our commitment to transparency and accountability. We need YOU to make the It Takes A Village Food Giveaway a success! 📢

Are you passionate about helping your community? Join us as a volunteer on Friday, July 19th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Favor House's Food Distribution Center, 3557 Main Street, College Park, GA 30347. We're partnering with Atlanta Community Food Bank, Fulton County Commissioner Natalie Hall-District 4, and Legacy of Glory Ministries to distribute fresh produce, pantry staples, and other essentials to those in need.

As a volunteer, you'll:

▪️ Help set up and organize food items
▪️ Assist with distribution and ensure a smooth flow
▪️ Engage with community members and spread joy
▪️ Be a crucial part of a meaningful community event
