This is Kath signing off!!! I’ve played all (?) the backs positions in my rugby career but my favorite is fullback during 15s!! I have been GWWRFC’s comms chair this semester . I’m graduating with a BS in public health, double major in environmental studies, and a minor in GIS🗺️!! Outside of rugby I was a VP for pi beta phi, I did balance this semester, and was on board for humanitarian mapping society! I ❤️ GWWRFC and have loved running this page! Xoxo

Next up is Martina!!! She is a center and fly half. Martina is graduating as a Pre-Med Cognitive Neuroscience major with minors in bio and public health! Outside of GWWRFC she was the founder and president of GW Women who Lift and was the finance and social chair for the club sports council!! She is also an EMT with EMERG and did gene editing research on butterflies that resulted in TWO published papers!! Yay Martina!!! We love you!🥳🥳🥳🦋🦋

Next we have Nina!! She is a forward and has played prop and lock but her favorite is 8 :) she was social chair and has been our captain this year!! Nina is graduating with a BA in photojournalism and minors in classical and ancient near east studies + journalism and mass communication! She was also on Cherry Bomb Press board and worked on an art zine at GW!!! We 🫶 you Nina!!

Kaitlyn is a flanker who served as captain VP finance chair and most recently our PRESIDENT!! 🥳they are a systems engineering major 📚with minors in data analytics and entrepreneurship!! Outside of GWWRFC Kaitlyn was involved in INCOSE, SEASSPAN, and WRGW!!! Post grad they’re going to HOPKINS FOR A MASTERS IN ENGINGERING MANAGEMENT WOOO WE LOVE YOU !!!!

Next up is Ellie!! Ellie is a lock/full back and has served as GWWRFC’s ombuddy, rookie chair, comms chair, and safety officer throughout her time. She is graduating with a double major in Spanish and Psychology! Outside of rugby Ellie is in Sigma Delta Tau where she served as the DEI Chair, was the Standards Chair for GW Panhellenic, and is a member of Psi Chi, the Professional Psychology Frat! Our next senior is Sam!! Sam is our fly half and Captain!! They also served as Vice President and Equipment Chair throughout their time in GWWRFC! Sam is graduating with a Neuroscience major and minors in Spanish and Emergency Health Services!! Outside of rugby Sam is also a volunteer EMT, was on J Street (+ eboard), and was on the ultimate frisbee team (+ eboard) for 2 years! At GW Emily was also part of the GW International Affairs Society, GW Model UN, GW UNICEF and GW JSA! After graduation Emily will be living and working in DC for a local nonprofit!!
